If you’ve ever used a long time using Windows or just browsed the internet game, you’ll meet FreeColl at some point. But do you know what it really is? Can you explain that to your friends?
Don’t worry if you can’t. That’s why we wrote this guide. It explains what FreeCell is, how to establish it, get to grasp the basics, and the strategy you can use to win more predictions.
Here’s what you need to know:
What is FreeCell?
FreeColl is a solo game but with a curve: it is set to make players easier to win.
By two-dimensional standards, the ability to get a hand that allows a win is about 25% (not very good). However, this ratio decreases even further when you add new parts or sets of clothes, reducing to under 1% under some of the rules of spiders.
FreeColl changed everything. It has eight waves (with the cards being divided into), four free cell spaces can hold a temporary card, and four organizations, as in common aisles. These are very important free cell spaces to make the game win (and where it is named).
How to Set FreeColl Game
If you play FreeColl online, you won’t have to do any settings. Software will do everything for you.
However, you can also do it by hand. Here’s how to start:

The first step is a problem. Make sure you randomly turn 52 cards (the clowns).
Share Academys
The next step is to process lines (some times called “tableau columns). In FreeColl, you add seven cards to the first four columns and the last six cards. Then you leave the last card on each column above so you can see where to put the shared cards.
Playspace Settings
Then you need to establish the play area. According to the convention, you leave space for four free cells on the upper left, and four foundations on the upper right.
Once you’ve got all the settings, you’re basically ready to go. All you have to do is start the deal to unlock the cards buried in the crowd, and you’re going to race.
FreeColl Masters: Basic Principles

So, what are the basic rules if you want to play FreeColl?
One option is to click on and figure it out. But another way is to go into every game using the knowledge we draw below.
In FreeColl, all cards appear immediately. This feature makes the game easier. All you have to do is move from pile to pile, by regulations.
- Moving troops to the beach. The card you move should be a lower level and opposite color (like in stag). For example, you can put six sticks on seven diamonds.
- Deliver the card to the cell for free. You can only place a card in each of these free cells to maximum four. You can also move them in and out of their space under other moving rules.
- Move the card to the platform. You can only move cards to the platform in order of growth if they are the next in the suit, starting with the card. For example, if you have a heart ace in an organized position, the two hearts are the only cards you can add to space.
- Move the cards to the slot. You can move the entire sequence to the empty flow if you have one.
- Move multiple cards. You can move multiple tags with a valid decrease and the color conversion sequence between the flow to free additional tags if necessary. However, some FreeCell games have limits on the number of cards you can move at the same time, depending on the number of empty squares you have.
To win the game, you have to fill out four platforms for each suit in order (Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King).
Strategy for the FreeCell Move
Of course, FreeColl is more complicated than the original appearance. The rules are simple, but the way you react to them is important.
In this section, we explored some of the top strategies to move the card in FreeColl. Finally, you should understand what you need to do.
Trying to empty an institution.
Your first job is to find ways to empty at least one flow. If you have an empty slot, the larger impacts will create a change, the down sequence will become easier.
Most experienced players try to do this in 10 moves or less. Once the column is free, it makes the second half of the game much easier.
Avoid free cells
You should also use strategy to avoid wasting free cells (the areas that hold up to four leaves). You need these to finish the game quickly.
So always see if you can move the card into a free slot, or in the middle of a flow. If you do this, it will lubricate the entire table and allow you to act (by removing a tag) when you are actually trapped.
Other Organiser
The practice of the FreeColl game was also a good idea. Not all cards are created equal.
For example, when you boast of the yoke, put it on the foundation immediately. This allows you to start building the final deck from any card available. Once you have the ace, it gives you more options where to put the card.
Meanwhile, low cards in the wrong column should be freed to build on higher cards. If you don’t build them quickly, they can prevent you from creating sequences and forcing you to use more freer cells.
If you have a free king, put them in broken posts. Then you can add queens, waiters and so on the list.
Finally, if you have free cells, use them to save, or to prevent the formation of middle cards. Take them away from the cheerleader for a while before bringing them back.
Think of the chain.
Training yourself to think in chains is a good idea. For example, let’s say you have a sequence but you also have some cards on the platform. Sometimes, breaking that chain if that means you can get rid of the cards. Then you can rebuild a new series using cards from other suits.
Think of three steps forward
Finally, always make sure that you think three or more steps ahead. FreeColl can win from most of the positions, but you can get to the finish line faster if you plan.
You can “undo” in the FreeColl app, but it’s harder to use physical cards. So simulating in your mind what happens next and moving forward on that basis.

Microsoft develops the FreeColl override system to monitor your progress. Its aim is to create faster competition. Instead of just trying to finish the foundation suit, you’re also playing against yourself.
This is how the type system usually works:
- Card to Foundation: + 10
- Cards from Free Cell to Foundation: + 10
- Card for free cell: -15
- The article from the free cell to the flow: -15
- Victory Awards Based on Time
The point you can write under this system is 2020 (if you finish the game in less than 100 seconds on Windows XP). To get this point, you have to put all the cards on the platform (52×10 = 520) and get a 1500-time bonus with no penalty for free cell use.
Interestingly, many new applications do not change the use of free cells. They were there for a reason! Rather, each provider now has its own laws.
For example, some FreeCell games will fine you for each extra move (for completing the game in fewer moves will be harder and show more planning). Others dominate or place a reward card at a higher level.
However, most games will not punish you if you use the deletion feature. So if you make an unwise decision, you may return.
Trials and advice for those who are enthusiastic about FreeCell

So, if you are a FreeColl lover, what challenges can you pursue?
- Finish the game. Microsoft actually provided a freeColl version without free cells and all the aces trapped in the wrong suit. The company believes it can’t be completed, but maybe it’s because you haven’t tried it!
- Come on. You can also try to complete FreeColl in minimal time. Most of the documents were recorded around 30 seconds (based on version), with anything under 60 seconds already being preferred. (You cannot remove and you can only use one mouse).
What about the tips, how can you become a better FreeColl player and really dominate the competition (and any free online versions of the game you play)?
- Use yokes and 2 to form early institutions so you can continue more opportunities when they appear in the right place.
- Don’t move a card twice if you can. (It wastes time and can lead to punishment in some game versions).
- Gather your clothes together sooner. If you can do this well, it’ll make it easier to move them into later organizations.
- No high value tag trap (more than 8) with lower tag of opposite colour. It’s very difficult for you to turn them into sequences that are not based on free cells.
- Learning mathematics “supermotion”: you can move from one line to another with the number of free cells you can use.
- Only break a sequence to set a foundation tag. Removing the cards from the flow usually helps.
Play FreeColl: Start to Be an Expert
When you practice FreeColl, you will feel less like a new starter and more like an expert. First, you have to grasp the rules, and then you’ll start to see deeper patterns.
Most of the time, you won’t win your first game. So consider this step as a learning step and an opportunity to witness what you can do wrong.
As you get to the middle stage, you start winning over 70% to 90% of the game. This is where you’d like to start doing all the strategies and tips we’ve discussed in this direction. For example, you’ll need to sweep the aces and take them to the foundations while dividing the sequence to remove the blocks (as 9 or 10.).
At the professional stage, you should win the most, if not all, you start the game. You should also seek to complete faster and more intuitive games with fewer errors, perhaps just within 100 seconds.
Free Software
Can a deal start?
Well, some versions of FreeCell allow you to select a starting agreement (which has been proven to you to end the game). These are often labeled by numbers and you can type the game into the console.
Where will cells and foundations go?
Free cells go to the top left of the board. Top right platform. The stream is below both and between.
How many cards are in the FreeColl deck?
FreeCell uses a 52-card standard deck with no cards.
How many free cards can you give me?
You can only place a card at a time in a free cell. You can’t stack them, like you can stack them in a flow or on a platform.
Should I set the goal of filling the cells for free?
Ideally you wanted to avoid using any free cells. If you use them, do it in a way that saves. Once they’re full, you can’t use them for anything else.
